Mikkelson signed a contract with Lulela of the Swedish Hockey League on Friday. The 27-year-old spent the 2014-15 campaign with AHL Toronto, producing 23 points in 60 games. A former 31st overall pick in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft, Mikkelson has logged 131 career games at the NHL level, but none since 2012-13.
