Mike Weber has a cast on his left thumb and he's projected to be sidelined for a while. He sustained an "upper-body injury" when he blocked a shot Friday in Florida and coach Ron Rolston anticipates that the ailment will be of the long-term variety. Weber has no points and a minus-12 rating in 11 games, but he has contributed 29 hits and 24 blocked shots.
