Mike Smith was solid in a 3-2 shootout loss versus the Detroit Red Wings Thursday night. Smith made a whopping 40 saves through regulation and overtime, but yielded two goals on four attempts in the shootout to take the loss. Like Brian Elliott, Smith has been quite the waiver wire find this season for fantasy owners, posting a 16-11-6 record as well as very sold peripheral numbers.
