Mike Smith was hung out to dry for much of Phoenix's 4-1 loss to San Jose on Saturday night. Smith faced a whopping 50 shots and made 47 saves, so you can hardly say this one was his fault. Even more impressive for him was that he faced 18 shots in the first period and allowed three goals, staying perfect for the remainder of the game.
