Mike Smith was bombarded with 52 shots in Phoenix's 6-3 loss to San Jose Saturday night. It's hard to fault a goalie who makes 46 saves in a game, so Smith should avoid the blame for this stinker. That said, the Coyotes are not a very good team and Smith will likely be exposed to this sort of thing on a regular basis. Keep that in mind if you are thinking of starting him as one of your primary goaltenders this fantasy season.
