Mike Smith stopped 21 of 24 shots in the Coyotes 6-3 win over New York Islanders Thursday evening. Smith returned from a bout with the flu and he improved his record to 14-6-5. He now has 3.01 goals-against average and .910 save percentage. The Coyotes are expecting better numbers from their number one goaltender.
