Mike Smith rebounded after a miserable start on Wednesday by allowing two goals on 35 shots in the Phoenix Coyotes' 3-2 shootout loss to the Detroit Red Wings on Thursday. This is exactly the performance fantasy owners wanted to see out of Smith after giving up six goals on 21 shots against the Anaheim Ducks. Even though Smith has lost his last two starts against the Wings 3-2 via the shootout, it's encouraging to see him wipe the slate clean and forget what was his worst performance of the year.
