Mike Smith is likely to be between the pipes on Saturday when the Coyotes are home to the Jets. Smith was the first goalie off the ice on Friday. The Coyotes face Winnipeg for the first time ever as Phoenix was the place where the original Jets moved to in 1996. Smith is currently 0-1-1 with a 3.41 GAA and a .909 save percentage. He will have to play well as Jason LaBarbera is breathing down his neck to become the starter for the Coyotes, especially after a 5-2 win this week.
