Mike Smith had another solid night in net, but suffered the overtime loss in the Phoenix Coyotes' 1-0 setback to the Los Angeles Kings on Thursday night. Smith made 27 saves, and even though he gave up three goals on 30 shots in his first game back (Jan. 3) since the groin injury he sustained Dec. 20, he really hasn't missed a beat. The 29-year-old has a 15-11-4 record with a 2.48 goals-against average and .921 save percentage. The Yotes have really struggled lately though, with four wins in their last 13 games, mostly due to an anemic offense, so Smith will have to be stingy to rack up wins.
