Michael Ryder also recorded a goal and an assist, while Brendan Morrow, Adam Pardy, Krys Barch and Matt Fraser all notched markers for Dallas in the win. Erik Cole, Andrei Kostitsyn and Jeff Woywitka countered for the Canadiens in a losing effort. The Stars goaltending duties were divided between Andrew Raycroft and Tyler Beskorowany while Carey Price and Nathan Lawson tended goal for Montreal.
