Mike Ribeiro netted the game-winning goal for the Dallas Stars in their 3-2 overtime victory over the Calgary Flames on Thursday night. Dallas never trailed in the game, so it was bad enough that it blew two leads in with points in the standings at a premium. In such a heated race for the bottom of the Western Conference playoff spots, losing this game outright could've been costly for the Stars, who trail Phoenix and Calgary for the eighth seed by two points. Ribeiro's blast was his 12th of the year, and he also had an assist. Adam Burish (six) and Steve Ott (nine) had the other markers.
