Mike Ribeiro buried his third goal of the season in a 3-2 loss to Toronto Tuesday night. Ribeiro has easily been the most productive member of the struggling Capitals with a team-leading 11 points in 10 games. Marcus Johansson also scored his first goal of the season during a first period power play.
