Mike Hoffman left Tuesday's game in the third period after he was on the receiving end of a hit from Boston Bruins rookie Dougie Hamilton. He was favoring his shoulder as he left the ice and he missed eight weeks with a broken collarbone earlier this year in the minors. Hoffman has no points and six shots in three NHL games with Ottawa since being brought up from the AHL.
