Mikael Samuelsson is improving as he recovers from a pectoral muscle injury. He is hoping to get back into Detroit's lineup before the end of the season. "At least it feels better every day," he said Thursday. "From yesterday to today, it's been the best day. Hopefully I'm over the hump." Samuelsson has been limited to just four games this year because of injuries.
