Michal Rozsival accidentally nailed linesman Andy McElman in the face with a hard right hand during a scrum with Colorado's Maxime Talbot on Tuesday night. "I really feel bad," Rozsival said. "It wasn't my intention at all to do anything like that. We were pushing each other and (Talbot) punched me. I punched him back, and he kind of deflected my arm. I seriously don't know how it could have happened. (McElman) seemed to be OK. It wasn't a hard punch, but he didn't expect it so he was suckered." As expected, he didn't face any supplemental discipline for the play. He was a healthy scratch against Columbus on Thursday. Perhaps Chicago coach Joel Quenneville was trying to keep the officials safe in that game.
