Michal Neuvirth was dependable in net Saturday night for the Capitals in their 3-2 shootut win against Florida. There was some thought that coach Adam Oates would go with Braden Holtby after his shutout Friday, but Neuvirth got the call and played very well, making 31 saves. Neuvirth will continue to get more starts than your average backup. He has a 2-2 record with a 2.79 goals-against average and .913 save percentage on the season.
