Michal Neuvirth left Thursday's game in the second period with a leg injury and did not return. Marco Sturm stumbled in front of the Capitals net and fell on Neuvirth's left leg. Coach Dale Hunter said that Neuvirth is day-to-day but wouldn't offer much more than that after the game. Braden Holtby entered the game to replace him.
