Michal Neuvirth blocked 32 shots in Washington's 4-3 shootout loss to the Coyotes on Saturday night. In the first of a back-to-back, the backup got the start Saturday night, playing admirably in defeat. Neuvirth was 1:46 from getting the win, as he gave up two goals on 14 third-period shots from the Coyotes. He has a 2.78 goals-against average and .913 save percentage this season. Braden Holtby will get the start Sunday against the Avalanche.
