Michael Leighton allowed five goals on 26 shots in a 5-1 loss to the Lightning Sunday. This wasn't how Leighton envisioned his first start of the campaign, certainly. For all the criticism Ilya Bryzgalov has taken, he has yet to perform this poorly. In fairness to Leighton, the Flyers defense corps has been ravaged by injury so he's not entirely to blame for the result.
