Michael Frolik scored the opening goal in the Jets' 3-2 preseason win over the Edmonton Oilers. The 25 year-old Czech, acquired in a draft day trade with the defending champion Blackhawks, might get the chance to rediscover his scoring touch in Winnipeg this year. He hasn't eclipsed the 45 point total he set in his rookie season with Florida in 2009 due in large part to his depth role on Chicago. Jets GM Kevin Cheveldayoff, however, told the media he'll probably play a different role than he did in the Windy City.
