Meszaros (upper body) participated in the Sabres' morning skate and could be in the lineup Wednesday against the Maple Leafs. While an injured player's participation in morning skate is normally an indicator that he'll play, coach Ted Nolan wouldn't firmly commit to Meszaros being in the lineup. Instead, with Zach Bogosian (lower body) also a bit banged up, the Sabres will have seven defensemen take part in pregame warmups. Nolan said he would let the six healthiest defensemen play, and there's no guarantee that Meszaros will be among that group. His status should be known one way or the other by the conclusion of the warmup.
