McGinn was recalled from AHL Charlotte on Thursday, Chip Alexander of the Raleigh News & Observer reports.

McGinn tallied three points in 12 games with the Hurricanes earlier in the season, but it was reassigned to the AHL to receive more consistent playing time. He'll now rejoin the Hurricanes in advance of Saturday's contest against the Canadiens, but there's no guarantee he will draw into the lineup.
