McCann will center a top line that features Daniel Sedin and Jannik Hansen on Tuesday night for a road game against the Rangers, Ben Kuzma of The Province reports.
EDGE Analysis
McCann will take the spot previously occupied by Henrik Sedin, who is expected to be out through the All-Star break (Jan. 30-31). Known as an intelligent, two-way player, McCann appears to be up for the challenge ahead. "I'm probably going up against their best line and I'm going to take it as a challenge, and I always like a challenge, so it's nice." McCann said Monday. "I'm a competitive guy and I want to play every night, and I want to make the most of it."
