McCabe was handed a game misconduct Thursday against the Flyers, ending his night prematurely.

Though he got kicked out of the game, McCabe played the hero, jumping Radko Gudas in a fight after teammate Dan Catenacci received a hit to the head. McCabe was assessed an instigator minor, fighting major and game misconduct for a total of 17 penalty minutes.
