McCabe (concussion) may resume playing with AHL Rochester next week, Rob Sanderson of FOX Sports 1280 reports. The concussion has kept McCabe out of commission for Rochester since March 4. The blueliner likely would have been in line to join the Sabres as a late-season call-up, but the long-term absence due to the head injury probably dashes those hopes.
