Maxime Talbot scored the lone Philadelphia goal in a 3-1 loss to New Jersey in Game Five of their second round playoff series Tuesday night. The goal was the fourth of the postseason for Talbot while Daniel Briere and Brayden Schenn drew assists on the marker. The team was clearly missing the services of Claude Giroux, who was serving a one-game suspension for his hit on Dainius Zubrus in Game Four. After scoring a seemingly unlimited number of goals in their opening round series with the Penguins, the goals dried up for Philadelphia in round two, which ultimately led to their downfall.
