Maxime Talbot has played at center and on both wings with the Avalanche. He's been playing on the ride side recently on the third line, but he prefers to play in the middle. "I feel like I'm more into the game at center," said Talbot. "It's more work, because you're skating more and you have more defensive responsibility. You usually have the middle of the ice, so you're telling yourself to get the puck and distribute it to the sides. Playing center, you feel like you touch the puck more. That's why I say it's a little more work, because you're always moving, whether it's in neutral-zone regroup or in D-zone." He has eight goals and 25 points in 78 games with Colorado and Philadelphia this season.
