Matthias was a disappointment for the Leafs this season, despite scoring in his return to the lineup Saturday after battling a neck injury. Matthias scored a career-high 18 goals with Vancouver last season, but has found the net on just six occasions in 2015-16. The Avs currently sit in a playoff position and will be looking to Matthias to provide some effective bottom-six forward play down the stretch.
