Matthias (shoulder) is ready to go for training camp and the 2017-18 campaign.
EDGE Analysis
With the postseason all but out of reach, the decision was made in March for Matthias to have shoulder surgery in order to give him more time to get ready for the upcoming year. The 29-year-old will no doubt be hoping the injuries are behind him after logging just 45 outings in 2016-17. Even when healthy, the winger is a bottom-six grinder and is more likely to rack up hits and blocked shots than points.
