Matthews assisted on the Leafs' first goal and notched their second on a power play in Tuesday's 3-2 shootout loss to the Sharks.
EDGE Analysis
He helped them build a two-goal lead that they let evaporate in the late stages of the second period, then was stopped in the shootout. His 22 points and 101 shots in 28 games add up to terrific fantasy value, particularly considering that Matthews still hasn't reached his ceiling.
