Matt Read retook the lead in the rookie goal scoring race on Thursday. Read extended his goal streak to three games with his 23rd of the season. Although he leads all rookies in goals, he is still a long shot for the Calder Trophy. It seems to be coming down to Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, who has 49 points in 57 games, and Gabriel Landeskog, who is able to help his team in a variety of ways.
