Matt Read pulled even with Edmonton's Ryan Nugent-Hopkins in the rookie goal scoring race with his 13th marker of the year on Sunday. Entering Tuesday's action, Read is fourth among first-year players in points with 25 in 37 games. The 25-year-old forward has been a pleasant offensive surprise for the Flyers this season, especially since his has outscored highly regarded Philadelphia rookies Brayden Schenn and Sean Couturier.
