Matt Duchene (oblique) will not travel with the Avalanche during their upcoming two-game road trip. The Avalanche where hoping that he would be able to return as early as Saturday in Los Angeles, but it looks like that won't be the case. "There's no point in rushing this," Avalanche coach Patrick Roy said. "We need him at 100 percent, and after skating today, he realized he would not be able to play." Duchene is still a possibility for next Wednesday's contest against St. Louis.
