Matt Duchene needs to undergo an MRI on his injured knee. Duchene was hurt when he crashed into teammate Jamie McGinn in the opening minute of Saturday's game. He wasn't able to play after that happened. With so little time left in the 2013-14 campaign, it wouldn't take much for this to wipe out the rest of the regular season. The bigger concern for Colorado at this point is whether or not he'll be available for the start of the first round. The Avalanche will have their hands full with their probable opponents, the defending Stanley Cup champion Chicago Blackhawks.
