Mathieu Garon blocked 35 of 36 shots Tuesday as the Lightning defeated Carolina by a score of 4-1. Teammate Anders Lindback was brought in during the offseason with the intent of having him take over the number one role, so it would come as a surprise if Garon received the next starting assignment for Tampa Bay.
