Mathew Dumba will begin the 2013 season with the Minnesota Wild. Wild coach Mike Yeo said, "He's earned it." The 18-year-old defender can play five games without burning a year from his entry-level deal and more importantly for Minnesota, his contact won't count against the maximum allowed at 50 unless he goes beyond that tryout. The team is already at the maximum. "It's pretty crazy," Dumba said. "These last five days have gone by so quick for me. It's an awesome feeling to be here right now."
