Mason will start in goal Thursday night versus the visiting Canucks, Dave Isaac of the Courier-Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Mason closed out his 2014-15 campaign with a 2.25 GAA and .928 save percentage, but he's far off that pace in negative fashion this season. In fact, this is the worst he's performed in a Flyers sweater since he joined Philly in 2012-13, via a trade with the Blue Jackets. Arguably his biggest hurdle has been the search for consistency, but Mason dealt with a personal issue earlier in the season and also had missed time with an illness. Consequently, that has given Michal Neuvirth (2.06 GAA; .937 save percentage) 14 starts and plenty of time to shine.
