Mason will scratch up the crease Monday against the Lightning, Adam Kimelman of NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Mason has essentially lost his starting job to Michael Neuvirth, but his last outing against the Blue Jackets (19-save shutout) has earned him another start Monday. He'l get a really tough matchup this time around, with a Lightning team coming to town riding a nine-game winning streak, having reached four goals or more in seven of those contests. While his splits favor his starts at the home rink (2.24 GAA, .928 save percentage), it's probably best to avoid him in season-long formats. He could still be an option in daily contests as a cheaper option with low ownership, though definitely a risky one.
