Mason will be the starting goalie for Thursday night's home matchup with Edmonton, Adam Kimelman of NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
After a very questionable start to the season, Mason has looked like an elite goaltender lately, winning five consecutive starts and not allowing more than two goals in any of them. It's even more impressive when you realize that he's faced an astonishing 171 shots over that span. He could have his hands full again considering that the Oilers are taking 31.9 shots per game and scoring 2.93 goals per game.
