Mason will be in the net for Thursday's game against the Flames, Sam Carchidi of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports. Mason probably deserves much credit for keeping the Flyers on the edge of the Eastern Conference playoff race, but he's been borderline unplayable this season on the road. He heads to the Saddledome on Thursday with a 1-11-6 record, 2.63 GAA, and .913 save percentage. Unless you're in desperate need of pursuing as many potential goalie wins as possible in a weekly matchup, it's probably wise to keep Mason on the bench Thursday.
