Mason will be between the pipes for Wednesday's season opener against the Bruins, David Strehle of TheFourthPeriod.com reports. Mason entered last season in something of a battle for No. 1 duties with Ray Emery, but he quickly emerged as the primary option, finishing with a 33-18-7 record, 2.50 GAA and .917 save percentage. His ratios probably won't stack up favorably with some of the league's other top goalies, but he still figures to make around 60 or 65 starts this season if health permits.
