Mason got back in the win column Saturday, making 31 of 33 saves in a 7-2 dismantling of the visiting Red Wings. The victory snaps a four-game winless streak for Mason, who has had some hard luck of late with a 35-save shutout overtime loss to St. Louis on March 12 and a 37-save regulation loss to Dallas in the game before that. It's hard to fathom that he has just 14 wins in 42 appearances this year -- especially with the great ratios (.926 save percentage, 2.25 GAA) he's put up -- but the team in front of him has been inconsistent all year. It's probably going to be too little, too late for Mason and the Broad Street Bullies to get back to the postseason, but that doesn't mean the 26-year-old can't provide value to owners down the stretch. If you're in need of a goalie, Mase is worth a look.
