Mark Stone potted a goal, but Binghamton came up just short in its 4-3 loss to Syracuse on Wednesday night. Stone now has three goals and eight points on the year. He was drafted in the sixth round of the 2010 draft, but has made enormous strides to work himself into legitimate prospect status, ending the past two WHL seasons with 106 and 123 points, respectively. This is Stone's first AHL stint, but he did manage to get into one playoff game last year, notching a point. Jakob Silfverberg also had an assist, his 16th point.
