Marek Zidlicky has waived his no-trade clause to go to New Jersey, but there is no deal in place yet. Wild GM Chuck Fletcher said all "very premature" and he added that he hasn't been told from Zidlicky's camp that the blueliner is willing to waive his no-trade clause. Despite that, Zidlicky's agent, Larry Kelly, confirmed that Zidlicky has waived his no-trade clause. This seems like a case of Zidlicky wanting to be dealt, but the Wild are less enthusiastic. "I haven't called him and said anything's close," Fletcher said, referring to Zidlicky. "I can tell you for sure I'm planning on talking to other teams. We haven't traded Zid, we haven't made the decision to trade Zid at this point." All the same, Zidlicky's name is worth keeping in mind as we approach the Feb. 27 trade deadline.
