Marc Staal still believes that his eye will improve even if it never gets back to being 100 percent.
"That's not to say it's not going to get a lot better so it's still improving," Staal said. "My belief is once everything settles down and I get comfortable with it, I'll never have to be asked about it again. I don't think it will be an issue." The Rangers defenseman suffered from blurry vision and altered depth perception after being hit near his right eye by the puck on March 5. It also left a small laceration in his eye, which would give him headaches and dizziness when he practiced and put pressure on it. However, he was quick to say that those symptoms were not the same as a concussion. He will look to continue to progress over the summer.
