Marc Staal has been playing very well recently and is getting plenty of ice time. Ranger coach John Tortorella believes that Staal is playing his best hockey since returning from a concussion last season and he has had a positive influence on developing rearguard Ryan McDonagh. But I think Marc Staal has played really well. I think he gets overlooked because we kind of rave about Mac [McDonagh]- the way he's come onto the scene. But Marc, since he's been back from his injury, has gotten better and better." If Staal is available in your league you may want to pick him up as a sixth defenseman.
