Marc Staal (eye) took part in Wednesday's optional morning skate. It was the third straight he had taken to the ice and first time he skated with teammates and taken shots on a goalie. "The peripheral vision is fine, I have full eyesight," Staal said. "One is just blurry still. Things on the ice, like depth perception, are just a little different. That's going to take some time to get used to." He has work on his conditioning as well, but he appears to be heading in the right direction.
