Marc Staal (concussion) is expected to resume contact drills in a few days. That would be a huge step forward for Staal, who has been progressing nicely in recent weeks. We still wouldn't dare attempt to predict when Staal will return - and the Rangers aren't offering any predictions either - but we're finally starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
