Malkin netted his 11th power-play goal Monday in a 4-3 shootout loss to Calgary.
EDGE Analysis
Since returning from a seven-game absence, Malkin has scored 11 goals and 18 points in 14 contests. He's also registered eight of his season's 25 blocked shots in the last three games. Of course, Pittsburgh likely prefers the Art Ross contender to take shots, not defend them, but his impassioned play bodes well down the stretch. Malkin's 33 goals already represent his fourth highest total in 11 seasons with 14 games remaining.
