MacDonald suffered an upper-body injury in Wednesday's game against the Blackhawks and will miss the remainder of the regular season. It's not exactly clear what type of injury MacDonald is dealing with, but the setback figures to keep him off the ice until next season with the Flyers on the outside of the playoff picture looking in.
